DermaSweep™ Microdermabrasion

The Aesthetic & Vein Center MD proudly uses ground breaking technology for skin revitalizing and resurfacing.  The DermaSweep™ microdermabrasion system which we feature is particle and crystal free, causing less irritation and inflammation than traditional microdermabrasion systems.  DermaSweep™ treatment immediately allows for the exfoliation of dead skin thru a gentile vacuum.  Your pores will be cleaned and unclogged with skin specific Epi-Infusion bristles which allow for better absorption of the treatment solutions. Your skin specific concerns are addressed by each of our DermaSweep Epi-Infusion topical solutions™.

Our Aesthetician may recommend tailored treatments for acne, dehydration, hyperpigmentation or antioxidant anti-aging issues, depending on your skin type:

1. Acne treatments feature a medical salicylic acid concentration which can reduce skin bacteria, preventing further outbreaks and clogged pores.  Patients with rosacea may also benefit from this treatment. 
   
   
2. Dehydration treatments are beneficial to those with normal to dry skin and for those regularly exposed to cold weather.  The solution contains Aloe Vera and Chamomile, allowing patients with sensitive skin to benefit also from its soothing ingredients.
   
   
3. Hyperpigmentation treatments target photodamaged skin by improving the appearance of sun spots (brown spots).  The infusion contains bleaching agents such as hydroquinone, azelic acid and kojic acid to create a more even skin tone and to lighten pigmentation.
   
   
4. Antioxidant treatment features Vitamin C which can improve fine lines and wrinkles. 

The DermaSweep™ revolutionary bristle technology is offered as a simple office procedure for your face, décolleté, or hands.  The treatment usually lasts about 45 minutes.  The aesthetician may recommend a series of treatments depending on your needs.  DermaSweep™ may also be used in conjunction with our laser or IPL skin treaments.
